Alimenta de alma! (Feed the soul!) Traveling the globe in search of delicious and healthy cuisine, we discovered the meca for incredible Spanish cuisine in the most unlikely of places, Bali, Indonesia. Located on a side road along the beaches of Canggu, La Finca, is an oasis of tantalizing tastes. From tapas to vino, cheeses and dessert, La Finca provides to opportunity to escape to the delights of Spain while in the paradise of Bali. Chef Asier Arroyo brought us to our knees with each bite. La Finca offers a standard menu as well as new tapas, wine, and main course offerings each week. Each morsel was a delight, some of my favorites were tapas such as pintxo: gambas crujientes, crispy prawn paired with cool avocado and bomba de paella, a tapas size 'bomb' of amazing paella. A divine creamy potato tapas were also on the menu, a feature Chef Asier brings to each menu he creates. Special thanks to Thomas Mack as well for his kindness and generosity.
